I have lived in Las Vegas, Nevada since I was born in 1947. My family settled here in 1929. I attended kindergarten at John S. Park, First grade at St Joseph’s. St Anne School was then built and I attended it from Second grade to Eighth grade. I graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1965. I attended Clark County Community College, UNLV, American Institute of Banking, Chicago Trade Institute and Rapport Institute.

In 1966 I was drafted into the U.S. Army. My training was at Fort Ord in Northern California. After Basic Training and AIT I was stationed at the Old Guard in Washington D.C. At the end of 1967 and in 1968 I was assigned to the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam. I was an E5 sergeant infantry squad leader in the Mekong Delta. We were also part of a Mobile Riverine force on the Mekong River.

After the Military I returned to Las Vegas, attended school and started working in the banking and finance business. I then started my own First Aid & Safety Supply Co which I owned and operated for almost 25 years.

I am married to my wife Trudy for 35 years. We have raised 4 sons Glen Walling, Bradley Walling, Michael Fleming & Douglas Fleming in this wonderful city.

I have been involved in our local community. I served 3yrs on the City of Las Vegas Parks & Recreation Board. I spent 11 years on the City of Las Vegas Ethics Board. I have been involved with Little League Baseball for almost 40 years. I am the District Administrator for Nevada District 2 for the past 25 years. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of Little League Baseball in Williamsport, Pa.
